We want to bring out what makes you unique. To do so, we place at your disposal a network built over the years with the most important companies in the sector, ready to offer you the work experience best suited to your profile.
Placement
The first workplace represents the gateway to the professional world. It involves three distinct parties: the student, the host institution, and CAST in its capacity as the promoting body.
What it entails
In the case of a curricular internship, the placement is activated on the basis of a formal agreement stipulated between CAST and the host institution, accompanied by a personalised training project that defines the duration, schedule, objectives, and modalities of the experience.
It is possible to enter the professional world outside of Italy: CAST and the host institution may define a specific agreement for the recognition of the experience within the student’s academic career.
For Bachelor’s and Advanced Training programmes, the placement service is personalised and is activated upon completion of the classroom phase. The assessment is multidisciplinary and involves lecturers, academic coordinators, coaches, and HR professionals: the objective is to establish the most effective connection between the student’s profile and the needs of the host institution.
Two pathways, one single objective
Placement is not a list of institutions to choose from. It is an assessment process that takes into account who you are, where you come from, and how you can grow. We carry it out in two complementary ways.
1. You already know where you want to go
If you aspire to a specific institution — a Michelin-starred restaurant, a luxury hotel, a prestigious patisserie, a food & beverage production company — we share with you an honest assessment of your preparation and your aptitude. If we believe the moment is right, we make direct contact with the institution and present your profile in a personalised manner.
2. You wish to be guided in your choice
Based on what we have observed throughout your programme — technical competencies, attitude, long-term objectives — we propose the institutions we consider most suited to your profile at this stage of your training.
Applying independently or arriving through CAST
Today the sector has an ever-growing need for well-trained professionals.
If you apply on your own, you must build your employer’s trust from scratch. When you arrive through CAST, someone who has known you for months concretely certifies your value — and that difference translates into better conditions and better opportunities.
