The Italian National Chefs Team is a division of the FIC (Federazione Italiana Cuochi), of which it is the official representation. It is the representative body of the FIC, ambassador of Italian chefs and cuisine in every competition, in Italy and abroad. Led by General Manager Chef Gianluca Tomasi for the four-year period 2020–2024, it is a team whose strength lies in teamwork, innovation, research, technique, and quality in the gastronomic field. Its members are selected from among the associates of the Federazione Italiana Cuochi and come from different territorial areas of Northern, Central, and Southern Italy. CAST Alimenti is the official training headquarters.
